Well, by the photographer anyway...this overzealous hunter, in his quest to reward his beast with a mouthful of feathers (pictured in the lower right), may have pulled the trigger a bit prematurely. I kept telling him to aim for the head! Nonetheless, the beast was rewarded and the bird was still edible. One good thing about shooting them at close range is that all the shot passes right through the meat!
