I have asked Jeff for a translation, but seeing as none has been forthcoming, I will attempt to translate for all...
When I first saw this headline I was afraid that Jeff had contracted some form of terrible fungal STD, what with his history and all, but he assures me it is nothing like that. I was disappointed because with all my forced learning of latin scientific names and all, I thought I might have an idea. Oh well, I still know what quercus rubra is and I bet you guys don't! Ha!
So that led me to the obvious. Many languages sound similar. I deduced that "hat" must mean "has". So, dictstes must mean, well you know, dick. Obviously ding means the same in both languages, therefore (and also influenced by the picture), Jeff must have dinged his dick while lifting this huge pumpkin! Can you believe it? Poor guy!
There may be another explanation if you dig only slightly deeper into the article... The sub headline reads, "US-Amerikaner zuchete einen Mega-Kurbis." This could indicate that my initial interpretation was incorrect, or perhaps incomplete. Perhaps Jeff has not merely "dinged" his dick, but has caused an acute onset of peyronies disease . Check this out! Poor guy....
