Hash Brown Tater
The Blobs are getting bigger. Deja and Brother are currently seeking permanent guest worker visas from the INS. They will be traveling by nondescript crate in to an undisclosed, top secrete, international airport the first week of April and will begin training us as soon as they arrive.
In the meantime, Brother needs a name. This being the “D-Litter”, he has been registered in his home country as Daily, but I’m not sure he really looks like a Daily. In fact, he looks more like hash brown Tater, a name vetoed by the more poetic members of my family. Being a French guy, I was thinking of Guy (pronounced “Gee” of course). Speaking of vetoes, I will not be naming him Roy. I don’t want any confusion over whether I’m crying over a missed shot or calling my dog.
While it is short notice, this is your big opportunity to suggest a name for Brother. Just remember, with any luck we’ll be using this name for years to come.

I can help, I can help!! Monica and I just went through this. I can’t help getting the 301b expedited citizenship, being already married, but I know where to get the proper forms. Seeing both Tater and Brother will be in school they should start with this route.
• Non-immigrant Visas
are required by anyone seeking temporary admission into the United States who is not eligible to travel visa free under the Visa Waiver Program, or is not exempt from the visa requirement. Non-immigrant visas cover visits for tourism, business, work or study.
To start you need DS-156 here it is, https://evisaforms.state.gov/ds156.asp It is an electronic form it is sooooo easy. You should also fill out the DS-157 form, http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/79964.pdf . The instruction page can be found at http://evisaforms.state.gov/default.asp .
If after they have worked hard and passed all their exams their employers, AKA Masters, could file for an employment base immigrant visa/green card. I mean yea doggie they could qualify under the second based preference category, after all hunting companions have a certain flair for the arts and sciences. Go down and on the blue lettering Ctrl+click to follow the link.
IMMIGRANT VISAS
Employment Based Immigration
In general, a specific offer of employment from a U.S. based employer is required to qualify for immigration in the employment based preference categories.
The issuance of visas in the employment based category might be subject to an annual numerical limitation. Check the Visa Bulletin for the latest priority dates.

Oh just in case you missed the first real statement, Monica is now a real live US citizen. She flew back to Dulles a couple of weeks ago and got sworn in. That adventure is a story in its self.
Happy hunting!!

Jeff brings valuable insight to the strategic value of a name. Certainly bird hunting is both an Art and a Science. But it can be a Religious experience as well, perhaps qualifying our immigrants for Special Immigrants Status for certain religious workers and ministers of religion. Consequent, I am considering amending a previously proposed, but arbitrarily vetoed name.
With a name like The very Reverend Russet Tater de Bécasse, he’s sure to get in.
Congratulations Monica! Sounds like barbeque is in order.
Rick/Rob, Et al
A good old fashion South African Braii could be in the works. (you know old time sakes)
From rumors heard about the dismal turnout for the fabled fall boat ride on the Manistee I am in the first stages of the remedial action, consisting of a special surprise visit starting the second week of November. Maybe, just maybe in time for the leap year ritual that occurs on the second Tuesday following the first Thursday in November.
But more on that later……Rob I’ll tell Monica!!

Okay then . . .
Cool that the blog is activeish.
There is no way, Rob, that Wa should be prounounced Roy, so good for you.
If it must be a 'D', then 'Dude' is an offer.
However . . . the combo of Deja and Vu is undeniably mystic; it has infinite possibilities of comical experiencies. (OH, and look into the reuisite ' mark - is it Deja, or Vu ?
Von Lau
It is Deja. Named with the thought that she would remind us of the short lived beast that came before her. In reality, she is nothing like Cziva. Same mother, different father. She apparently takes after her father with regard to looks. She has just one spot at the base of her tail (see photo). My bossman pointed out that it looks like a "tramp stamp." It was then, with horror, that I realized Deja is a strippers name! What have I done!? Oh well, guys at bird camps like tramps and strippers; they will especially like one that points and fetchs birds for them!
