Where to Get Flocked Up - 2008
Buck Shot and the Very Reverand Russet Tater took a scouting trip to the Betsie River in early September. A number of nice potential camping locations presented themselves; however one site stood out. So let us all gather at:

I hope it is at least a mile, or we could be in for our first violation! State Forest Rules expressly forbid camping within one mile of a State Forest Campground. Some of the original camp members may recall when I was cited for this offense in the U.P. which really pissed me off because I was in town at the time getting groceries (aka beer) and returned to camp to find a ticket on the windshield of my truck! That was nasty enough, but then poor father, had one of his employees come into work with a newspaper clipping from the Grand Marais Herald Tribune Times that alleged that David S. Lint had been cited for this egregious offense! I am still haunted by the memory of this long ago incident. At least I wasn't the guy in camp discharging a 357 magnum at a pumpkin perched in a tree when the nice Conservation Officer showed up!
Hey Buck Shot, what time the ceremonial cracking? and I don't seem to be allowed to post on here anymore.
