BDT Tester

Here is a nifty portable BDT gauge.

I wonder if anyone has followed the link from my name in the "You don't
have to teach old dogs old tricks" thread?

Editor's Note: Doug writes to offer a BDT Gauge. I'm guessing that double barrel is in the double D gauge. You can't get those loads at Kmart.

World’s Shortest Fairy Tale

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl, "Will you marry me?"

The girl said, "NO!"

And the guy lived happily ever after and went fishing, hunting,
and played golf a lot and did whatever he wanted whenever he
wanted.

The end.

Editor’s Note:

The above Fairy Tale and accompanying instructional video were provided by Scott. As you will notice in the video, some people just hear what they want to hear, which explains why some women are so easily offended.

You Don't Have To Teach Old Dogs Old Tricks

Woody was a little perturbed with the posting of his pre-bituary and wanted everyone to know That Dog'll Hunt!, just not all day. But then again, who among us can hold a point like we used to.

Happy Birthday

Woody turns 14 years old today, that’s 98 in doggy years. And just like a fine scotch, our association with this well matured companion makes our bones ache like his own, and set our minds wandering to Blasts from the Past.

It seems like only yesterday, or September 16, 1993 to be exact, that Woody became a half-fledged bird dog. It would be some time before he could call himself a grouse dog.

Many of us also became hunters on these weekend repasts. I give you the written record of Geoff’s first point, a covey flush of seven, as duly recorded and never surpassed.

When

The Date:

O.K., alright, here goes.
Bird Camp dates set for October 6-9.
That about wore me out.

Scheduling is a bit difficult this year but this seems to be a date that most I have talked to can work with. Otherwise we’re looking at late October with its associated high probability for negative BSI action.

Location:

I’m going to go out on a limb and say same place again this year.

Feel free to offer alternate suggestions by comment.
