Change of Destination
The retreat has already sounded, the weather Gods having sufficient proffered their forecast of doom, and Pappy’s Cabin now being available. So go there. Use the previously supplied directions, but don’t go past Cold River Road. Turn toward the river and join us. When the drive way goes hard right, go ye also that way, then take the next drive to the left.

I have returned from the great plains...my dog and I are whipped (the kid is a bit tired also, but she got to sleep through half of the 24 hour drive home). I am clear on the change of location. I will be there sometime, hopefully sooner (Thursday) rather than later (Friday). I have aquired a case of Point beer, which I just cracked so if you want any you too should come sooner rather than later. I also have aquired a bottle of rye whiskey, a treat Uncle John taught me in Wisconsin last year. I am bringing my very tired dog, myself, my lawn chair and my big frying pan...I will be the camp chef and bar tender and generally lay around and get fat and happy. I may bring my gun, and if my beast recovers we may attempt to hunt something...see ya at the river...
