When To Get Flocked Up
This posting is dedicated to the when question. I will start with a general review of comments I received regarding the Dog Days of Autumn posting. Add your comments as the spirit moves you.
The second weekend of October (7-10) is bad for at least two of us, so I would suggest, with due consideration of the BDT, perhaps the first or third weekend of October.

There appears to be a ground swell for the third weekend from the Kingsley crew. Get your votes in quick.
Bird Camp has moved West for me also, and changed into Mountain Bike Camp(MBC). For the second straight year, MBC is being held in Moab Utah during the first week of October. I don't have enough of a following, it's just me, to have a blog site, but perhaps blog master Rob will consent to post some pics of the 2nd annual MBC when I return.
If I'm still allowed to vote for flocking time, I vote for the 3rd weekend.

I’m told that last year during the inaugural MBC Classic, the participants were heckled by a Red Squirrel at a very sensitive moment when they were coping, with a batch of early morning colon blow. So for this years event, they have prepared, to defend themselves. Good luck guys !
If I had to pick just one, The 3rd weekend would be just fine. As for the camp site, I give it the big thumbs up!
